About the Author
Why do I write? Well, for me, that’s simple. I’m basically a hermit, and I prefer the close walls of my mountain home to the hubbub of the busy world below. So, I write to live and experience the world in my own way.
Strange and unusual, you say? Perhaps. But I think that it clears my mind so I’m better able to dream. If it’s a good story, I’ll write it. Genre doesn’t matter to me, but I tend to lean toward dark fantasy, thriller and horror.
As a writer and an avid reader, I’ve built a fortress for myself, an oasis built upon the books I’ve read over my lifetime. Layer upon layer, it has grown into towering walls etched in sacred words that whisper to me from the shadows. These stories built this castle; they built me.
I never forget a good story. A good tale is like a hearth fire, giving light and warmth to the soul. It gives readers the safety of its flames, a veil to ward against the outside world, so they too can dream.
But now, it’s time to tell my own tales, and paint these walls with words inked by my own hand.
Some of these stories have been brewing in my mind since childhood. Vivid images forged in flames, they have haunted me for years and yearned to see the light of day. Well, it’s time they did.
I hope you’re ready.
